The foundations for becoming a master of your money are rooted in a clear 3-part structure – or process.
This is our Philosophy for Wealth.
It’s worked for me. It’s worked for many other women, in the UK and across the globe.
It can work for you too.
First we need to have a little chat.
About You and Money.
Let me ask you…
- Are there days when you wonder why you work so hard for so little reward?
- Do you lose sleep over how you will make ends meet or have enough in retirement?
- Are your mortgage repayments a millstone around your neck or are you still waiting to have a place of your own?
- Is making money and wealth a bit of a mystery to you?
- Have your financial circumstances caused you to abandon your dreams or put them on hold?
If you said ‘Yes’ to one or more of these questions you’re not alone.
Because for far too long the financial dice have been loaded against women.
- We get paid less than men.
- We pay more for many goods and services.
- We are charged higher interest rates.
- We invest less.
- We are not so well prepared for retirement.
- We live longer so we’re at greater risk of debt.
- And, of course, we love to spend.
This is how it often plays out in our lives…
No matter how hard you work or how much you earn, there’s little if anything to show for it.
It can feel like you make three steps forward and two steps back. It’s just not happening how you want it to.
On the outside you want to make it look like all’s OK. On the inside it’s a different story.
The anxiety weighs on your beating heart, the confusion messes with your head and the sense of overwhelm is suffocating.
And what really sticks in your craw is you know people who make more and live the life of Riley – even though you’re smarter and more talented than they are.
You could be forgiven for just giving up and bemoaning the injustice of it all.
But where’s that going to get you?
If you want to sort your finances, get control over your money and make any kind of wealth you need to dust yourself down and pick yourself up.
Get to grips with our Philosophy for Wealth.
Step #1 – Plant
The way to change your relationship with money is to work on your ‘inside’ to improve your circumstances outside. You plant the seeds for growth.
Adopt a Wealth Mindset.
Which means get your head straight. Clear your thinking. Overcome those niggly, nagging and annoying limiting beliefs, your ‘money blocks’, which drag you down each day.
If you keep doing the same thing over and over again but you end up with the same disappointing results… there is an alternative.
Change what you are doing.
(You don’t need to be Einstein to work that one out, right?)
I don’t want to get into a neuroscience lecture here but unless you ‘get it’ at Step #1 nothing is likely to change – whatever you try, however hard you try.
Because wealth begins in the mind.
Your habits, your thoughts, your beliefs and your actions are intertwined. Directly connected.
Here’s another way to look at it.
The quality of your thinking is the barometer of your health, your relationships, your finances, your career and your future.
Your present circumstances are linked to your wealth and money mindset.
Want things to be better? Then shift your thinking.
Empower and Enrich was set up to help you do just that. We know it can be hard to make change alone.
Step #2 – Grow
You understand the critical importance of a Wealth Mindset. You have begun to change your thinking around money.
Now you are ready to Grow.
We are in a digital age and yet when it comes to finances some women are still living in the Dark Ages.
It’s time to deepen your understanding of the Wealth Mindset.
It’s time to take things up a notch.
It’s time to get down to the financial nitty gritty and some practical money-making stuff.
Educate– With a little financial education you can improve your know-how and start to feel more financially confident. Don’t worry, it’s not rocket science.
Plan– Like it or not, wealth rarely happens by chance. It does require a vision, a bit of structure, some planning and a few goals. It gives you something to aim for.
When you have purpose and direction, it gives you the drive, focus and determination to succeed.
Your Money Plan gives you the blueprint for your long-term wealth and life in retirement
Practise– When you get into good money habits you set yourself up for long-lasting rewards. It helps you wipe out debt, save more, earn more.
Power Up– This is where you discover innovative 21st-century ways to help your money grow, learn the power of investing and experience the joys of passive income.
The Grow element is the heartbeat of a sound vision for wealth creation.
Step #3 – Reap
The Reap phase is when you’ve got enough to live a comfortable life.
No worries about paying mortgage, rent or the bills. Everything taken care of with more to spare.
Now it’s time to start putting more focus on your bigger picture.
Time to reconnect with your life purpose (from the Step #1 Plant phase).
Time to work through your vision.
Time to make a difference and pay it forward.
This is your reward. Your legacy. Your gift to future generations.
